Architecture in the hands of architects

At the beginning of October 2004, the results of an architectural competition for a kindergarten in Sesvete were published, and the winners were Goran Rako, Nenad Ravnić and Josip Sabolić. The fundamental idea of this project is based on a gesture of constructing the kindergarten in form of a spiral band, which would softly embrace a protected playground. As part of their competition entry, a model was presented, rudimentary in form, with which the authors wanted to emphasize the authentic and elementary features of their concept as much as possible.
